A feature film and two documentaries from Chickasaw Nation Productions will be airing soon on NNPS-TV Cox 47/Verizon 17.

Three renowned First American opera soloists will combine talents June 13-15 for performances of “Tosca,” a well-known classic Italian opera.

It was 2015. “Te Ata,” a full-length movie filmed a year earlier celebrating the life of Chickasaw entertainer Mary Frances Thompson Fisher, was in postproduction and was not ready for release.

Whether it be ancestors of the past harvesting native vegetation or present-day farmers bailing hay for their cattle to graze in the winter, the Chickasaw people have long appreciated and utilized agriculture for self-sufficiency.
